everyone could use a shouthaus

My dear friends from the
Natural Building Apprenticeship
at the Ecovillage Training Center
nestled deep in a little hollow at
The Farm, Summertown, TN...

built this:

It's the Shouthaus,
for all your showring/outhouse needs.

There are two composting toilets
(one to use while the other does the composting thing)
and two solar showers
(with a back-up heater for the winter).

It's timber-framed with walls made of such things as
wattle and daub
light-clay straw
and
wood chip slip (a new one on me).

And you can go here to
read all about it
and see more pictures!

Rebecca - You made a comment on my blog and I've discovered the answer.....

I purchased those seed packet post cards on Amazon. They are by Cavallini & Co. They are Farmer's Market Carte Postal. They come in a tin box that says Farmer's Market on the front with a picture of the Tomato seed packet on the front as well.
There are 18 post cards inside with 9 different designs. You can get a pack of 3 for $37.99 or 1 pack for $13.99. In any store they are $15.00 or $15.99.
